Recommended Lighting Setup
Although lighting does not affect radar tracking, we recommend:
Even, consistent lighting in the hitting area
Enough light to clearly see the ball, club, and target line
Lighting positioned above or behind the player, not directly in front
This helps with alignment, confidence, and safe indoor use.
Indoor Use Tips
For indoor practice:
Avoid strong directional lights that cast harsh shadows
Do not place lights directly in front of the launch monitor
Ensure lighting does not reflect off metal nets, frames, or walls
Outdoor Use
The launch monitor will usually function normally in:
Bright sunlight
Cloudy conditions
Dusk or low-light environments
What to Avoid
Flickering or unstable lighting
Lights placed directly between the ball and the launch monitor
Strong reflections from metallic objects near the hitting area
